Geocache Description:




"Evenin' catched us up early, so we tended on the southly bank o' Sloosha’s Crossin' 'cos the River was furyin' with days o' hard rain, an' all swollen like. Sloosha's was friendsome ground, though marshy. N'one lived in the valley, o' course, 'cept birds. Now, I'd had some diresome hole-spew that day 'cos I'd eaten a gammy deer leg. But we'd just forgot that and mounted them antlers on the stone pillar anyways, like always, and moved on. Walkin' quiet, lookin' for that Orison, movin' easy, back off into the marsh."

Stage one of this eight stage multi can be found at the listed coordinates.

The journey to Sloosha's Crossin' will take you through some tough, swampy, bottomland terrain. Very beautiful and certainly worth the trip. You can see most of the things depicted above if you're observant and lucky. But be prepared to put out some serious effort. If there's been rain, well, there will be water to negotiate. You should bring a friend along for safety.
