What's Up There? Traditional Cache
Cache Sleuth: Due to multiple mugglings recently with container being left open, contents scattered (twice), trade items ruined, etc., I have decided to archive the cache. It has been up for 12+ years, so I think it's time to open the area up for someone else to maybe hide something around here. Thanks to all who have found this one over the years!

A traditional cache hidden in an interesting spot near the junction of the marina access road at Summersville Lake, just south of Summersville, West Virginia.
From U.S. Route 19, turn onto Airport Road. If coming south, this is a right-hand turn; if traveling north, turn left. Go approximately 1.5 miles to the 4-way intersection. Turn right onto the marina access road and immediately pull off the pavement and park on the right side at N38° 14.557, W080° 52.328. Do not pass the main gate or you have gone too far. Right across the road you will see an old dirt road going uphill. This is the way to the cache. If it is fall or winter, and the leaves are off the trees, you will be able to see the answer to "What's Up There" from the road. In the spring and summer, you will find out when you get to the top of the hill! While up there be sure to also check out the well marked grave of Sir Buddy Black Knight, a popular local police dog(!) that passed away in 1997.
The cache is in a small snap-lock container. Initial contents are: a mini tire gauge, bouncy ball, 3 polished glass "gems", toy car, flashing safety light, geocaching bracelet, magic towel, toy whistle, butterfly eraser, big marble, 2 dinosaur magnets, brass cache tag, and a log book with pen.
