Geocache Description:

You are searching for a 30 cal ammo container with a writing utensil, logbook, FTF loony and the usual swag.

The Migizi Trail is named for the bald eagle, migizi in Ojibwe language. Dedicated in 2003, the Migizi Trail circles Pike Bay on an 19-mile paved loop through the big red pines of the original Ten Section of the Chippewa National Forest. There are four access points along the trail route: Forest Supervisor's Office in Cass Lake; across from Cass Lake Wayside Rest on Highway 2; Norway Beach Recreation Area off Highway 2; South Pike Bay Picnic Area on the Pike Bay Loop road. If you're looking for a short walk you can park on Hwy 2 (don't forget to grab Mac's Xing (GCXZBB) and walk north on the bike trail. If you're in the mood for a longer walk, you can park at the picnic area at Norway Beach campground and go south on the bike trail from there.
