This is a large bison tube that we got from GeoWoodstock
VI...(now a small pill bottle). I have been wanting to place a
cache at this location for a long time. While taking a night hike
with our Boy Scout Troop, I was finally able to get up here and
make the hide. I am hoping the coordinates are good since it was
getting late in the day and dark out. If they are off, please let
us know.
I first saw "Two Brick Spring" on my Tom Harrison map and I knew it
would be a perfect spot to hide a cache. It gets pretty wet around
here in the winter, but the cache should be just fine.
Two Brick Spring has no doubt been here for a long time. The water
comes out of the hillside just below the cache site and continually
fills two brick troughs. I imagine it has been used by generations
of horses (and now dogs) over good long time. I had planned to get
pretty extravagant about the placement, but because I didn't want
to hold up the Boy Scout Troop's hike too long, I decided to focus
less on the mechanics and more on making it just a little more
fun.
