A quickie park and grab. The parking lot is used by all the kids in the area for bike riding and skate boarding. Its an interesting little area in a "backwater" street.
This is a true micro, with just the log and Geocaching notice. BRING YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL.

This is going to be a memorable cache for us. We decided to go plant a micro somewhere in the vicinity of our home, so we gathered up our dogs and went for a walk. As we were walking down the street with the hounds, I heard a "MEOW, MEOW!!" behind us. Now this wasn't the friendly "Hi, I saw you." kind of meow, this was the "Help, Help I'm LOST" kind of meow. So I stopped and turned around just in time to see a little yellow, black, and white kitten charging toward us. I gave my husband the reins on the dog I had and went to get the little thing. It was light as a feather and really just fur, bones, and a scratched nose. So, we carried the kitten down to the selected site, planted the cache and came on home. Now we have to find a home for the kitten. The hub and I are old hands at cat rescue. Seems the critters just know who the suckers, I mean kind hearted samaratains are. *KITTEN UPDATE* Well, the kitten found a good home. OUR home. Yes, we're really suckers. Our little dog, Whippy, fell in love with her and she fell in love with him . So now we have another cat. I swear this will be the last one we keep for a long time. Check out the gallery to see kitten pics and a pic of her now that she's grown up.
