Der selige Bauer Multi-Cache

Ein Multi auf einem Rundweg von knapp 2 km auf Waldwegen (bis auf die letzten 40 m zum Cache geeignet für Fahrräder und Kinderwagen mit großen Rädern, außer möglicherweise nach starkem Regen oder bei Forstarbeiten)

Nachdem ihm Frau und Kinder gestorben waren, überschrieb der begüterte Bauer Johann seinen Hof an die Kirche, schenkte all sein Geld Armen und Bedürftigen und lebte fortan als gottesfürchtiger Einsiedler im Dürnbucher Forst.

Willst du erfahren, warum wütende Bürger später seinen Leichnam an den Schweif eines Pferdes banden, um ihn zum Vohburger Galgenberg zu schleifen und dort zu verscharren, ihn aber im gleichen Jahr noch reumütig exhumierten und seine Gebeine noch heute in einer Vohburger Kirche einen Ehrenplatz haben, dann begebe Dich zu oben angegebener Koordinate, bei der Du auch parken kannst.

Hier findest du eine Gedenksäule, die an Johann erinnert. Lies aufmerksam die Inschrift; die Jahreszahl (= abcd) aus der Inschrift benötigst Du für die nächste Koordinate

Dort angekommen konntest Du früher ganz in der Nähe an einem Baum ein kleines goldenes Schild sehen das auch die Zahl 33 enthält. Der Baum steht gegenüber dem Baum, an dem derzeit noch das Schild mit der Zahl 32 angebracht ist. Stelle Dich an den Baum mit der nicht mehr vorhandenen 33 und gehe ca. 16 Meter in Richtung 034°. Und schon hast Du die erste Station erreicht, an der die Geschichte weiter erzählt wird.

After the death of his wife and his children, the rich farmer Johann gave his farm as a donation to the church, distributed all his money to the poor and needy, and lived from then on in the Dürnbucher forest as a god-fearing hermit.

If you want to know, why later on furious citizens fastened his corps on a horse’s tail in order to trail him to the Vohburger Galgenberg (gallows hill of Vohburg) and to bury him there, but in the same year the citizens exhumed the farmer and his mortal remains occupies until today a place of honour in a church of Vohburg, then come to the above mentioned coordinate where you can park your car.

Here you find a commemorative column which reminds of Johann. Read carefully the inscription; you need the year (=abcd) mentioned in the inscription for the next coordinate

Arrived there you could see in the past in the proximity a small golden plate fixed on a tree, showing also the number 33. This tree is standing oposit to the tree with the plate showing presently the number 32. Place yourself under the tree with the not anymore existing 33 and walk about 16 meter in direction 034°. And here you are at the first stage where the story is continued.
