Geocache Description:

This is the 19th in a series intended to introduce you to the many Urban Trails we have here in Colorado Springs.

High muggle area during the day.

There are 2 segments to the Woodmen Trail.
East Segment. This trail is 2.55 miles one way; paved. This portion runs from Briargate Blvd and Union Blvd east to Ramblewood Dr along the utility easement (former portion of the Skyline Trail). This northeastern trail travels through rolling hills and prairie. The majority of the trail is paved and good for bicycling, skating, and walking. There are many small feeder trails coming out of the residential areas.

West Segment. This trail is 2.05 miles one way; unpaved. This is somewhat of a pathfinder trail located along Woodmen Ave running west towards Peregrine. It is currently primarily a neighborhood trail best suited for running or walking. It will eventually connect with the Pikes Peak Greenway on the east and to the Foothills Trail on the west. It runs from West Woodmen Road and Chapel Hills Drive west to Westwood Road along the south side of West Woodmen Road.

Congratulations to cmwiggens0414 for being the FTF!
