On September 18, 1848, the soldiers' remains were buried in this
tomb with full military honors in a ceremony attended by Sam
Houston and other dignitaries. When you get to the mural, be sure
to read the interesting story of the Black Bean Death Lottery.

daily from 8 am to 5 pm. You are looking for a small plastic
container with a few small trade items and a log book. Bring your
own pen. Watch for snakes. No need to cross the barrier cable at
the edge of the cliff in order to find the cache.
