Geocache Description:

One of my favorite scenic drives. Road is usually open from mid spring to mid fall. The family sedan can make it but use caution.

Cache is a small Tupperware style container with the usual trade items. PLEASE, NO FOOD OR SCENTED ITEMS it will draw bears.

This is a beautiful drive very few people know about. Great views of the South Touchet drainage, Robinette Mountain, and the Blue Mountain Skyline. Be sure to bring your binoculars.

DIRECTIONS:
From west of Dayton, turn south on to Lower Hogeye Rd. then left on Payne Hollow, let your GPS lead the way from there.

From Walla Walla, drive east toward Dixie, turn right on Mud Creek Rd. just east of Dixie. At the top of the grade, turn right on Lewis Peak Rd., when you come to the 3 way juntion with all the NO TRESSPASSING signs, follow the MIDDLE road up the hill, this is Dent Road. The roads on the left and right are private roads. Let your GPS lead the way from there.

Be sure to log GC1874 along the way.

Enjoy the drive and happy caching,
Bluesman63
