Located at the westbound U.S. 35 rest stop in Gallia County, Ohio. The road behind you leads from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, home of the Mothman legend. Early cachers reported freaky occurrences. For more details on Mothman, see archived cache The Mothman Returns! [GC11BD].
The second replacement cache is a camo tube with room for small trade items. There is a pen, but you probably should bring your own writing instrument.
The original placement required considerable stealth because it was right in traffic. This is probably why it disappeared. Stealth is not as much of an issue now. Please beware that rest area caretakers will take note if you linger too long in the search area. There is no obvious reason to be down at this end, so use your best acting skills and search casually. Please do your best to conceal the container in available foliage.
