Slate Pirates
A long time ago six old pirates stared at the mighty St. Joe river. They were trying to decide if they could set their vessel down in the Joe. The pirates decided to sleep on it. Day after day they stared at the flooded river. They went to sleep one night and never rose again. They turned into the slate pirates you see before you.
The cache is located under the back of one of the sleeping pirates. Which pirate do you choose? Your GPS may bounce off the sleeping pirates and the wall of slate on the other side of the road. Be wary of your young ones. Do not go down to the river, its siren song may call you. Do not climb the rock wall across the road. The pirates guard the treasure.
