Florida National Scenic Trail. One of eight in the country. If you are so inclined you can start here and go to Miami or Pensacola on foot. Follow the orange blazes and bring some water.
Park next to the big metal power pole. It is a short .25 mile hike if you are only going to the cache. Unfortunately there is no heinous bushwhacking involved. This area can be very wet. Bring bug spray. I had bug spray on and still brought home two ticks.
The long foot bridge was built by volunteers from the Florida Trail Association. They also maintain the trails. As you walk across the bridge there is a lot of sawgrass hanging over it. Be careful with it as you walk by it. It will cut you.
I spent a long time getting coordinates here. I tested these and they were the best to get to the cache.
Be sure to get Lockwood Knockwood and Magnetix while you are here.
FTF prize is a buck and two Georgian Laris. I gave these laris as an FTF prize before. Then I FTFed a cache at Tosohatchee and they were the FTF prize there. I was regifted. Now you will be the third FTFer to get them.
***Congradulations to FTF's: PockyBum522 and immortalpear (At 1:00 AM !! Cool)***
