This series of caches is located on Jordan Lake game lands so take precaution especially during hunting season. The best put in is Robeson Creek canoe access located on a NC wildlife protected area, at these coordinates (N35º 42. 42.982 W79º 05. 772), which BTW is not located on Robeson creek, but rather the mouth of the Haw River.
Located across the lake from the mouth of Robeson Creek, again you must beach your craft and walk up a low slope hill. There will many targets here but not many that could conceal this small lockNlock, big enough for trade items but not for a writing stick. I had to dive in the lake after this hide, before heading across Jordan on this 100º day.
