When our grandsons were smaller, they could hear a train coming from a mile away, and we had to drop everything just to go watch the 'choo-choo'. Sometimes we even made a special trip southwest of town to watch them switching in the yard or to catch one coming in on the west tracks. Their love of the rails lives on today, only now it’s model trains instead.
If you or your youngsters love trains, you’ll love where this cache is hidden. It will be a front row seat for watching all the ‘choo-choos’ you care to. There’s usually one in the yard taking on fuel or switching, and the big ones come rolling through every 15 minutes or so.
The original cache was muggled so I thought I would try one more in this vicinity. The new container is a short section of PVC pipe that has been capped and painted green. The screw on cap is wired to its hiding place, so just unscrew the pipe from the cap. New contents are log book and pencil, Bratz pen, casino chip keychain, mosquito wipe, My Little Pony pencil, MVP bracelet, skeleton hand and a Huskers pin.
