This cache commemorates a 'Cache-in Trash-out' event that Hydnsek sponsored on May 31, 2008 - Cougar Mountain CITO v2.
I was only able to help out for little over an hour, during which time I pulled rocks out of a bank that had been placed there years ago to prevent erosion. Over the years, the bank became overgrown with blackberries and the park wanted something else. After the rocks were pulled out, natural plants were planted. It looks much better. If you go on a hike from the Red Town trailhead, be sure to admire all the work accomplished during the event. Also look for the big pile of rocks!
Anyway, after just an hour of digging rocks out of the bank with my hands, I pulled off my leather gloves to go home. I discovered that I had blisters on my fingers! Not painful but a surprise. It may have been a hard day, but night came soon enough.
The cache itself is not a bison with a wimpy 'o' ring. Star of the day is really a medium size lock 'n lock. (8/13/2010 - it is now a film canister)
After admiring all the work that was done, go find the nearby cache. It's at: N47 3E.HTL W122 0K.SSH (12/28/15 reading: N47 3E.TLH W122 OK.SRK)
