Wysteria Inn Travel Bug Bed and Breakfast Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sandy Hams: Disabling is no longer temporrary!! Cache is now archived. We will work on relocating it soon. Land that we thought was highway right-of-way appears to belong to someone who does not want us marching up and down the hill so has posted a "no trespassing" sign. Oh well.....

Geocache Description:

We decided it was time to create a restful spot for Travel Bugs and Coins to rest on their way East. Terrain rating is for a small elevation climb and seasonal wetness. Not wheelchair accessible.

If you take a travl bug or coin, please try to leave one. However, this Bed and Breakfast is intended as a dropping off point for trvelers moving East of the mountains or for travelers coming to Portland from the East side of the state. It is easy to park and easy to access.

The cache takes its name from the old Wysteria Farm Inn that was found along E. Cherryville Drive (old Mt. Hood Loop Highway) as a stopping place for travelers heading East or on their way to Stump Town (Portland) when traveling West.
