This cache's brother is located nearby. The history of this
town is a very important part of our county. Originally called Mulcahy, the town was renamed Peachland as incorporated in 1895. A Peachland physician, Dr. Parks Turner Beeman is known for successfully treating patients by feeding his patients while other doctors preferred to starve them. His epitaph reads "I fed fever".The area was once known for its gold panning. In 1814 Lawyers Spring Baptist Church was started. Lawyers on horseback from Charlotte to Wadesboro camped at one of the many springs in the area..
Now to the cache..it is placed in a commercial place with
the permission of its owner. Be respectful of this
location and hunt for the cache on Monday thru Saturday only
from 6 AM to 7 PM. Closed on Sunday so no hunting, please.
