Silverstone Pit-Stop Traditional Cache

To complete this cache you need to perform a pit-stop. Please bring a stopwatch with you, or another timing device with a second hand - or if you have neither of these, get someone to count for you. This is what to do:

1. Start your stopwatch as soon as the car comes to a rest.
2. Change all 4 wheels (2 will do if you have a bike), refuel the tank, clean the windscreen, find the cache and sign the log.
3. Return to the car, and start your engine. DON'T attempt to drive off with tyres smoking! You've finished at this point!
4. Stop the clock.
5. Report your pitstop time in your online log.

PLEASE TAKE CARE!
This is a proper lay-by beside the A43, with a traffic island between you and the road. But it is a very fast road (except on Grand Prix weekend!) with vehicles flying past at high speed. There is no need to go anywhere near the island - the cache is hidden on the grass verge, well away from the traffic. Nonetheless, I would recommend that kids and animals should stay in the car - they can always keep an eye on the stopwatch and shout "encouragement" from the window...
