Geocache Description:

Located in Heritage Ranch Park. Just off of Highway 2 in Red Deer.

Feb 7, 2008 Cache has been replaced in a new and improved container. A bit smaller, but watertight. No longer has a log book, as it was a bit smaller than I wanted, but there are logs on here anyways! Current items are;

Small Cold Pack
2 Golf Balls
Blackfalds Pin
Toy Dinisour
Small Wood Elephant Head
Toy Sub
Bastketball Whistle
Tweety Bird Crock pendand
Magnet
RCMP Button

This was my first cache, so all I did was find
some tid-bits around the house I didn't really need anymore. Hence it had a variety of things except the "kitchen sink".

I decided to do this in hopes to get more people out onto the trail system here in Red Deer, my opinion in it is very under used.

Look around the area for 2 other caches I added in 2008;

The Kitchen Drawer
The Great Canadian Currency Exchange

Cache is just off of a horse trail (you can walk, but no bikes), within the trail system of Heritage Ranch. A great place to stop if travelling between Edmonton and Calgary. It has picknick facilities and other attractions (including the Alberta sports hall of fame).

So if you want to make an afternoon out of it you can. It will take about 1-2 hours from start to finish depending on how fast you walk and how well you know your GPS. The Cache is in a small Lock & Lock Container (Please be
sure to hide the cache the same way as you found it.

Original Items were;

A few sets of pins
A "Dummys guide to fishing" mini book
A small Canadian Flag
A tape measure
A pair of candle stick holders
Some extra cue cards and pencils
