One of my favorite placed caches in DC was called "Paved Paradise" since I got to watch an old building be demolished just so they could pave the property and put in a parking lot. So, I thought I'd provide a "Paved Paradise" cache in Downtown Tampa. Since there are plenty of locations in Downtown Tampa for Paved Paradise caches, there may eventually be more than just one of this theme. I actually park nearby most days, and I typically hum the tune to that song each time I go by this area.
If you are a history or architecture buff and have some time, note that there is a newly renovated 1920's historical hotel just west of the cache, and it's worth a peek inside to see the wonderful restoration work and ask one of the front desk personnel some of the history of the hotel. Per the desk clerk, JFK stayed there the week before he was shot in Texas, and also some celebrities such as Elvis and Marilyn Monroe were visitors as well.
Be aware there are many homeless muggles that loiter in the area along the Marion HART transit line because of the bus shelters. Most are harmless, but I'd still be cautious, and probably wouldn't do this one at night.
[I am mildly concerned about the coordinates possibly putting you in the street due to urban bounce, but the hint should get you to the right place.]
