COINANZA Event Cache

We've been hankerin' for a gatherin' for some time.  Now you have a chance to show off all that geo gold you've been minin'.  Come join us for some coins, 'n cards 'n cussin' and games.

We'll be meetin' at that old ghost town of Barnet at 1PM for some caching, coin swappin' and tall tales from the bush.  Heck, we just might have a hog callin' and greased pig catchin' contest -- pig willing.

**UPDATE** The park concession has been closed down. There is no food or drink for miles so this event has turned into a BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic). Please bring some pop and/or or some snacks for the treat table.

Blind Geocoin Exchange: We will have an ammo can set up for you to drop in an unactivated Geocoin and reach in to grab one in exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring an unactivated geocoin.

For y'all that ordered a 2008 BCGA geocoin in the Lower Mainland, you'll be able to pick  up yer coins between 1PM and 3PM.

The coordinates will take you to the change rooms by the beach. The event will take place somewhere close by depending on which section of the park is available. We will try to get an area as close to the beach as possible. The weather channel is calling for 23 degrees and sun. Bring a bathing suit if you'd like to take a dip.
