Geocache Description:


Our little town of Nappanee gets some activity with Amish Acres, http://www.amishacres.com/ drawing the "tourists" throughout the summer. I thought the area would be a perfect place for travel bugs to stop and relax along the way before heading down the road again. Those who are taxiing them will find lots do as well as more caching. One of the new additions to town is the quilt gardens tour http://www.amishcountry.org/QuiltGardens. Thousands of flowers have been made into huge patchwork quilt gardens and supersize murals have been placed throughout the heritage trail in northern Indiana. Nappanee has two of the gardens and one of the murals.

The cache container is no longer a camoed mayonnaise jar, it is now a camoed gallon ice cream bucket and will hold all sized travel bugs. FTF gets a little token of my appreciation for starting the hunt off. In the log, feel free to write what state you are from so we can see all the various travelers that come through the area. if coordinates are off, please email me and I will change them.
