An easy micro near the south end of Fire Lake. Terrain rated 2 for a semi-steep embankment. Cache contains only a logbook, so please BYOP.
We thought Fire Lake needed one that didn't require a boat; We still haven't managed to get to Loon Landing.
Near the popular public-use boat launch and the spillway on the south end of the lake. This area is extremely popular on weekends, so please use stealth. The cache is not in direct view of the boat launch, so it should still be accessible even during busy times.
For safety's sake, the cache is hidden in such a way that it is NOT necessary to enter the spillway (or even get your feet wet.) You will not have to lean over the railings to look either. If your GPSr says to enter the water or fly, wait a moment and let the coordinates settle down.
