A medium sized cache in the woods.
In these same woods a few thousand feet east I found my very fist cache: "Return to tradition #1." Since then I've found about 85 caches and this will be my fifth hide. It's a traditional cache, like the one that hooked me. Well defined trails lead from multiple entrances to the cache area, which is about 100' off the trail. I usually park at the end of Windsor rd off of Allen rd. Once parked feel free to explore "the pits" for a while and then continue east into the woods. You should stumble upon a well defined trail quickly. By keeping the golfers on your left you should hit ground zero in no time. Once you find the cache if you continue down the trail, you'll cross a small stream and reach a picnic area. The woods on that side of the stream are charred from a past fire, and somewhere, deep amongst their blackened trunks hides another cache for you to find if you're so inclined.
