Geocache Description:

The first on a trail of ten caches around this interesting area. These are the true coordinates for this cache but from now you will need to follow the trail.

See Miners' Trail 10 -The Final (GC1D7AE) for instruction.

The beck can become a raging torrent in bad weather with all the run-off from the moors around (I can testify to this personally!). This gauge measures the flowrate in case it becomes of concern for the village.

This cache contains the coordinates for Miners' Trail 2- Lanshaw Level but no information for the Final.
