Please remember this is not a maths test it is very simple logical thinking and nothing more - Enjoy the walk and have a bit of extra fun thrown in for good measure. Its a bit of a quest but a fun one & worth the effort
The walk is roughly a 2.5 mile circular walk. A story based on my childrens' favourite film (at the moment!) no prizes for guessing which one! Follow the pathways, I suggest you have a pen and paper also a pair of gardening type gloves may be handy although not entirely essential. Can become slightly boggy underfoot at times. You are looking for a plastic box cache container. So the story so far; Eddie and Harry are on a mission set by the great white elf to find his daughter, the princess of beauty, and to give her the bracelet of Amagali so that she can destroy it as it can only be destroyed in the land of Grandja but on the way they come across a number of obstacles and they are stuck – you have been handed the bracelet and are their only hope. Set off on a walk accross the Marsh Lands of Beledrag and travel along the pathway of truth. Your first destination is at N50 47.224 W001 38.184 where you must seek the answer from the Goblin (beware he can be a bit prickly) who guards the path. The goblin who hid the secret could only reach about 2 feet off the ground and hid the clue as high as he could reach when he was standing on the NE side of the prickly obstacle Once you have defeated the goblin by answering correctly you can continue towards the Realm of Alfheim. The three crosses of Baradore bar you entry in to the secret realm. You must summon all your inner strength to move the bar of steel and force your way through. Only the most courageous and pure of heart will be able to succeed. Follow the instructions given by the goblin and head towards the structure giving entrance in to the Realm of Alfheim. When you arrive, but before you can enter this new realm and continue your journey you must uncover what is holding the clue to provide you with the long hidden secret. When Eddie and Harry had arrived at the entrance to Alfheim they used the Goblin's information, but aware that they had been given the Card of Adjustments and they must now start to use this if they are to find the way to complete this part of their quest. From here you continue and travel to Geysmare where you will find Thor’s Oak. Be careful and considerate and you may unearth the mythological tree’s secret. A large obstacle has been thrown in your way, stay strong and find your way round and back to the path. Trust your guidance device and find the pathways. Should you succeed in persuading Thor’s Oak of your good intentions you will be assisted on your quest however finding the next source of knowledge will not be so easy and cunning will be required to persuade the relinquishing of its secret. As the boys approached the area of Umgali Log a small rodent type creature appeared from the undergrowth and whispered to Harry “Don't forget the Card of Adjustments” Harry was tired but excited and remembered to look at the adjustments he had been given and all was well. Now the final, effortless trek to find the Cache and retrieve your reward joining the fellowship and by your efforts the foul intentions of the Sorcerer of Mandakar will have been thwarted but has he been defeated…?
