Geocache Description:

This was a great cache site and I was sad to see the old one disappear, so I re-invented it and replaced with a slightly different contaier.

This cache is located in the Roadside Rest Area and Park on the South side of Douglass, KS.
I actually found out what happened to the original cache in a round-about way. A young man affiliated with the local Boy Scout Troop #622, took on a revitilazation project of this park for his Eagle Scout project. The pavilion where the original cache was located was in disrepair and was not worth rebuilding and was torn down. I am proud to say this Scout did a wonderful job helping this park out and has since passed his Eagle Board of Review and will soon receive his award.

On to the current cache, you are looking for a smaller tupperware container (that is why use this multi-billion dollar satilite system for right?) located near the state map in the park.

  • Leave the site better than you found it.
  • Protect the environment — always.
  • Educate those around you.
  • Find another cache!
