Go play outside for Father's Day: the trail along Salmon Creek makes a nice little walk for the whole family. The cache is not on the trail, just a short steep hike from the parking area.
This cache takes you to one of wildlife 141's favorite spots where he used to hang out and catch folks fishing illegally. One of his favorite stories is about the time when he caught a local elected official and his family fishing illegally in the creek below. Check the regs before you cast!
When you log, share with us what kind of wildlife you see - even if it's just the human kind! When placing the cache, we saw a black-headed grosbeak, a loon and some yellow warblers. Take note: park your vehicle at the top of the dam, motor vehicles are not permitted below.
