Broomhill Sands Traditional Cache
ddr1711: Popped down to check on and resolve the issues here only to find that the car park is closed for work. As we're unsure what they're working on and the length of time that the carpark will be out of action we have decided that this cache must come to an end.
Happy Caching

A nano located at Broomhill Sands Car Park...
Camber Sands, Broomhill Sands Car Park.
A pebble beach at high tide, otherwise a flat sandy expanse.
This is the 'main' beach for watersports, and the only one where kite sports are allowed. Two hours either side of high tide are best avoided, but the rest of the time it's terrific. Given the flat, sandy expanse it's one of the best beaches in the area for kite sports. Hazards include strong currents, a shipwreck nearby exposed at lower tides (ask someone to point it out if it's covered by the sea) and sheer number of people (due to its popularity) in high season. Either way, it's pretty much the best sporting beach in the SE.
Take some time to watch the sport - it can be an experience.
There is plenty of free carparking but on a sunny/windy day this may be at a premium as this is a very popular spot!
Please take care with young children/dogs as there is a main road nearby and the car park can get busy.
