Just when we thought this would be an easy Park and Cache.
This easy to find area has a paved walkway to the creek. A pair of benches invite you to sit and stop for a while.
This cache site comes with a rain water run off catch basin, that has been the rearing grounds for puddler ducks, mostly Mallards for years. Never ever have we seen anyone here except fisherman and maintenance workers. So why not sit and relax at the benches, while you are here, I will bet you that this is YOUR PARK CACHE.
If parking in the commercial lot south of the site, take a look at all the signs posted on one tree. Looks likes a light pole at the corner of Haight and Ashbury.
This cache became a bit harder and a bit scarier after finding the last of the OLD MILL RUNS. Past here goods went north and south on the Ledyard Canal to and from the great “Clinton’s Ditch”.
We left the can coolie, a TB and a windup flashlight, if you find it you may need it to get out, or just “Go to the light, Cachy Anne."
