Geocache Description:

Looking for a lock and lock container. Be aware 15 feet east of the road begins railroad property, there is parking both 40 feet north and south of the cache.

This cache is part of my 'Trails of the Iron Horse' series, a series of caches that are located at railroad themed locations. I am hoping this cache series will catch on nationwide! One of my hobbies other than geocaching is railfanning (watching andphotographing trains). One of the local hotspots for railfanning in the Jacksonville area is where I hid this cache. The rail line in proximity is the Florida East Coast Railway. This rail line runs from Jacksonville, FL all the way down to Miami. This rail line at one time extended from Miami to Key West but a hurricane in 1935 wiped out most of the bridges throughout the keys. Enjoy the cache and hopefully you'll get to see a train!
