Parking for about 10 cars is available on the 11th Line just on the
east side of Hwy 400 at N 44° 08.947, W 079° 38.451.
This cache is a camo'd "ammo can" type at ground level. It
contains a log book and pencils with various small trinkets like
LED flashlights and key chains. This one may be a bit of a hunt as
the tree cover is quite thick. The best accuracy reading I could
get was 4 metres. You should see a large patch of ostrich ferns on
your way to the cache... the cache is NOT hidden in them, so please
avoid going into them... these are plants that are easily destroyed
and have a very slow recovery rate.
The only bush-whacking will be for the last 15 metres or so. I
would suggest sticking to the trails on the way in, and watch out
for cyclists as this is a popular area for mountain bikers. Bring
bug repellant with you, and wear long pants as there is quite a bit
of poison ivy this year (stick to the paths, and you'll be
fine).
