Geocache Description:

A nice cache in Queen Elizabeth Park, Masterton.

The Cache is a short walk from the park oval. This park is great for a nice walk, to picnic, and take your kids to the miniature railway. Playground & mini golf can be found nearby.
Make sure you see the Avery, you’ll be surprised what you can hear!
Dogs are permitted in Queen Elizabeth Park on a lead other than : * Children s Play areas of Queen Elizabeth Park, * Aviary area of Queen Elizabeth Park, * Park Street.

NO TRAVEL BUGS/COINS as this cache is muggled from time to time.

UPDATE SEPT 2011 : Charlie, the female cockatoo at Queen Elizabeth Park, is shifting house to Kaitoke Wildlife Park as Masterton District Council plans to remove the bird aviaries.
