Geocache Description:

Every time June comes around and I drive through the farm country of the Fraser Valley I am reminded of all those teenage summers that I picked berries. It’s amazing how a job I loathed has left me with so many good memories… the sweet smell of strawberries, lunch time in the shade, great friendships made, sharing the shady side of the raspberry row and buying my first shiny ten speed with every cent of my hard earned money.

This cache series is dedicated to all of you who picked berries like me. I hope it brings back some wonderful memories for you too.

When you find the cache make sure to make note of the Jumble Letters located inside the cache. You will need them to solve the puzzle for the Final: I’m Done Picking Berries.

At least when you pick RASPBERRIES there’s always the time when it’s your turn to pick on the shady side of the row. My cousin and I spent countless hours, talking through the leaves, planning our weddings. It didn’t matter that neither of us had a boyfriend at the time! Our little transistor radio followed us from post to post, playing the same hits over and over again. To this day I cringe whenever I hear Paper Lace sing “The Night Chicago Died.”
