Rest n' Peace 24.1 - Trachsville - 1 of 2 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team_Zigbot: Life changes and since losing my job in May, we haven’t been able to keep up with the caches anymore, so we decided to it’s time to rein them in and just keep the one that are real close and that we go by regularly.

Also cachers have changed; in the early days we always carried stuff along with us in the back pack to repair caches when we found them needing maintenance. Cacher’s attitudes have also changed; comments have gotten snippy and ugly at times. The fun has past. Happy Caching.

Geocache Description:

Rest n' Peace 24.1 - Trachsville

24th in the Rest n' Peace Cache Series

This is a little usual; it's not a multi-cache, but two separate caches, just like the setting and situation your caching in.

We about forgot about this cemetery until another cacher mentioned it to us.  So here we go.  This is cache one of two and is the tale of two churches.  It's an unusual situation and at one time probably a very uncomfortable time in the life of this church.  When you arrive, you'll notice two church directly across the street from one another.  The one on the right (Coming from Rt 209) is the newer of the two and I think was built in the last 10 years or so.  At one time there was just one church and one congregation and one cemetery.

I don't know what happened, but it's obvious it was pretty serious (at least to them).  But in God's eyes, probably pretty petty at best. I've heard of churches splitting over the color of the carpet in the sanctuary, don't know what the case was with these folks.   Well anyway, now there are two groups of people meeting in two different sanctuaries in two separate buildings but yet worshipping the same God at the roughly the same time.  And probably a lot of the people don't even know why there was a split in the first place.  And I think when we get to the other side, they'll realize it wasn't all that important in the grand scheme of things.

It's hidden snuggly on the grounds of the cemetery, but is not on the ground.  You'll park at the entrance to the West Cemetery.  The coordinates take you to the parking.

The only hint you'll get is 6 of 8; so look for 8 things that are alive and stand neatly in a line. Unless there is a tornado these will be here probably long after we have joined those here.   This is wheelchair accessible but not obtainable.

BYOP

No other hints on this one;  with the picture below I think you'll find it pretty easy.
