No Sense of Direction Traditional Cache

A quick drive up cache located beside a unique roadway in the Kawarthas. This is not a guardrail cache. It can be done by either road or boat.
Just follow the signs to the cache!
I've always thought this little stretch of road was unique. Accessible by road or water, it was just asking for a cache so others could enjoy it too. If you happen to position yourself in the right spot, the road signs direct you right into the Trent Canal. When caching by car, you might want to avoid following the signs from this perspective.
The road is usually pretty quiet of traffic but be careful of passing cars while you stop for the cache. There is a wider area of the road by the cache but it is posted "No Parking". There is also a small area to park at the north end of the road but you will have to walk a short distance (N44 34.003 W078 57.077). This is an open area so please rehide the cache as best you can.
The water is very shallow outside of the Trent markers on this lake. If you are travelling down the Trent in your yacht, I don't recommend trying this cache unless you have a canoe with you.
Take note of the nearby osprey nest. The road also has a "Turtle Crossing" sign at one end so watch out for these guys crossing the road. Herons and kingfishers also frequent the area.

Update: There has been some major changes to the area since I placed the cache. They actually moved the signs and they do not have the same directional effect as the old ones -- too bad! A new guardrail was installed and a bunch of rocks has been dumped near the shore -- don't waste your time looking in the large area of shore rocks or the guardrail.
