Geocache Description:

Get your kicks and your caches on Route 66. We've enjoyed finding caches along other old stretches of the old highway. This cache is located at a monument dedicated to the historic mother road in southwest Missouri that goes through Joplin.

This is a very easy park and grab although finding the way up to it may be confusing for those not familiar with the park. This park is a historic one in Joplin and named after one of the early business leaders who struck it rich in the city's mining heydays. While there visit the nearby mineral museum to really get a sense of Joplin's past.

You should not be bothered by muggles unless it is a nice day for golf. The cache contains some shiny stones and a Route 66 travel bug. Please place the travel bug in another Rt 66 if you take it.
