Here is a nice 4WD climb to what used to be a lookout. Because
of gas prices I was forced to try and go up here with a 2WD vehicle
and basically had to turn around at the listed waypoint and park
off to the side and walk from there. The road just above there is
just very clayey and sticky and therefore not 2WD friendly. It
wasn't a clearance issue with the car. So if you take a car then
you will have a relatively short hike to the cache site. If you
take a 4WD, well you are right at the top. Enjoy!
This is the starting point for the 3 mile long hike to the
McKirdy Meadow.
