LAURIES BAY Traditional Cache

BEACH WALK
This is a walk along the beach to Lauries Bay where some private cottages are situated. Access is also via private road.
Access to the beach is at Kinni Bay where parking is available. This is the shortest walk to the cache (aproximatly 2.6 km one way) Alternatively the cache can be done in conjunction with SEA FOREVER cache , passing Bushy Beach and ending at Sardinia Bay.(12.7 km). The cache is in a 1.1L lock & lock.
Some Geology on the area: The contact between the Table Mountain Group and pre-Cape rocks west of Port Elizabeth is placed at Laurie's Bay. A north-striking fault, the Laurie's Bay fault, separates the Table Mountain Group from pre-Cape rocks.
