Geocache Description:

The terrain type is a rated 5 because you will need a canoe to get close to the cache. The cache is located 300 metres to the south of the canoe landing area down an old logging road.

The cache is placed in a 1 litre Nalgene bottle (you know those BAD for you plastic bottles!). The cache is just off the road by about 50 feet or so. If you cross the bridge you have gone too far - but you can see the "twins" from the bridge.

Original contents are handy for those in the outdoors:
- log book and pencil
- mylar emergency blanket
- small elastic bands
- 1/2" webbing buckle
- a length of 1/8" bungee cord
- a small length of lace
- 3 bandaids
- key rink
- plastic tent peg
- glow stick
- sample floss from my last visit to the dentist (unused of course!)

I hope the contents will remain useful for those spending time in the outdoors.

If you look at a map of the area it shows a road leading to the cache but this road is not open to the public. I have heard of people trying to access this area on the road and having problems with the residents, and their dogs, along this ex-logging road. Do what everyone else does and enjoy the 1 hour paddle from Grant Narrows Regional Park (they rent canoes there at $50/day). This makes for a fantastic day outing if you combine this cache with one I found later on the trail to Widgeon Falls. The landing area has a nice, free, campsite so make it an overnight adventure.
