Geocache Description:

In a recreational area favoured by dog walkers, wanderers and cross country runners. Located on an "island surrounded by a sea of grasses" in the summer and ... well ... in near tundra like conditions during winter

Has an impressive view of the infamous "Cloudmaker" that is visible from all parts of Ottawa.

Plenty of Parking nearby - multiple approaches possible
