Based on the NW Caching forum thread, Guess The Grid Reference, this cache is solved by doing exactly the same.

The cache is not hidden at the listed co-ordinates... it is, however, hidden at the location in the photograph below...


Great Hill summit from the cache location.

In order to make this cache solvable to those without local knowledge, I can confirm that the cache is hidden 4.112 furlongs away from the peak! Furthermore, Ffloss's "The Beech" cache gives some handy hints!
