Geocache Description:

A park and grab. Handicapped accessable

The cache is placd in midtown Kansas City, Mo For a long time the area has had the reputation of being unsafe but over the past few years the area has really changed.

The house situated in front of the cache was built in 1895 in the Victorian style. The current owners are slowly but surely restoring the house to it's original grandure. It's called a Painted Lady because of the variety of colors used in decorating the trim.

The brick building just to the north also has an interesting history. It's original purpose was to be a factory. The ornate trim was not usually added to a factory at that time. Also noteworthy is the fact that it was the first factory built by a Jewish buisness woman in the KC area.

Original Cache Contents include the log and pen, FTF prize, a deck of cards, wooden bear, and several smaller items.

Please use stelth. This can be a busy building at times with lots of muggles around. Recommended daytime search

Permission to place granted by both owner and operator of the building. If you see Mark or Renee please wave, they think this is exciting.

The coordinates originally listed are a bit off. (thanks to the folks who have sent me corrected information). Went down there last night to recheck the cordinates.
