Here’s a cache and dash with its very own parking spot. The cache is a 35mm film case with a logbook and a pencil. This is a great cache to do on a cycle as you can pull onto the small triangular grass verge and search at your leisure.
The cache is located within the boundary of this small verge and is near the village of Colston Bassett. The village has many fine attributes mentioned in more detail on similar local cache entries, but suffice to say the village has a Pub, Deli/shop, dairy and a ruined church that are all well worth a visit.
You can park briefly in a spot right next to the cache in a tiny layby, it's obvious if you look on Google Earth. Just watch this junction as it’s a bit busy and visibility isn’t brilliant.
The cache is in plain view but fairly well camouflaged.
