Deze stenen bergmolen werd opgericht in 1857,
in opdracht van burgemeester Alfons Duvivier-Vandenberg.
Reeds in 1908 werd de molen onttakeld.
De molenwal is afgegraven.
Van het binnenwerk resten er enkel twee maalstenen.
De sterk ingekorte molenromp was een tijd in gebruik als dancing en werd in 2004-2005 ingericht als woning.
