Geocache Description:

A cache that involves smiling and saying Cheese! (or fish!)

I have heard of caches like this before, but have never actually visited one. I thought it was such a neat idea that I wanted to try it out for myself.

To access this cache, it is not necessary to park on the side of Highway 61. There is a boat launch area entrance on the side of 61 by the lake where you can drive and park. This cache is a small rubber container which includes the logbook/pen, a disposable camera, and a friend I like to call "Ms. Fish." She's green and sparkly. I would like everyone who visits this cache to take a picture of themselves with Ms. Fish, and then replace the disposable camera back in the cache. The picture can be at the cache site, or you can walk a short ways to the edge of the lake, where I'm sure she would love to have her picture taken with you. This is completely voluntary of course, but I think it's a fun little twist to geocaching. I will check on the camera, and once it is close to being finished I will develop the pictures and display them on this cache website for everyone to see.

I hope this cache is fun for everyone, and I think families with small children would really get a kick out of it. Please do not take Ms. Fish with you on your travels, for I know she would miss her home in Winona too much. And as always, HAVE FUN! (And remember to turn the flash on the camera!)

**** First camera was developed October 19th! *****
