Geocache Description:

With gas Prices so High, take a short walk down the path toward energy independence. When you come to a source of alternative energy, and a "light bulb" appears DIRECTLY overhead, that might be an idea that you have traveled too far. You might stop to CACHE your breath as you try to determine what you may have LEFT out. Suddenly you may say "Eureka!! I must have ROCKS in my head!" as you realize relief from the rising cost of crude oil is right UNDER your nose!

Now that you found the cache, you have to do do some serious soul searching...Are you a democrat who advocates the redistribution of wealth or perhaps a republican who seeks answers in the free-market? I mean on the one hand, you did do all the work after all, so don't you deserve all the profits? On the other hand, maybe you believe that, as the truly enlightened human being you are, if our society is to really evolve towards utopia, contributions must come "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need". So, even though you looked up the cache, loaded it in your GPS, used all the gas in your own car to reach it, got out and walked to the location, exhausted massive amounts of cognitive and intellectual energy engaged in the furious mental processes necessary to locate, retrieve, and extract the cache and the contents therein (not to mention all of the money you spent on sophisticated electronic equipment such as computers, global positioning devices, networks, drivers, and internet access), you'll decide you're only entitled to that which recoups your personal expenditure of financial and human capital, or even better, less than that.... Maybe you feel you have enough resources in reserve, so why not let someone else, who's put forth significantly less effort (due to the incredibly helpful log entry you left that led them right to the cache with ease) to have your share of the profits reaped from the sweat of your own brow!! Oooor maybe you won't think of any of that stuff and just say "Sweet! A free ride!! I mean that's what I'd do!!

So this is my first cache ever and I thought I would leave it as a memento of the 1 short year I spent in the "Village" before I move to South Carolina.

Easy parking on the street, or at the nearby shopping center. Then just a meandering stroll up the nicely paved path over the little knoll. The last 12 feet is a bit tricky with some loose rocks and thorns, so beware.

BEWARE OF MUGGLERS as the location is somewhat popular with the neighborhood characters. Some choose to use the playground for its intended purpose, while others tend to engage in much more nefarious activities.

Although the path is well lit at night, I would NOT advise a solo approach under the cover of darkness, as you may encounter a gaggle of local hooligans who sometimes gather to engage in their nightly shenanigans. If your mission entails squad and/or fire team size units, (or a geopup) an early evening operation should be just fine. Please take care to place the cache exactly as you found it.

Cache is a blue and black camouflage plastic air tight coffee container with the following original contents:

*Log Book with pencils
