This cache is near NMT's Etscorn Observatory, which is often the locale of various star parties and other events.
If you go golfing at the Tech course often, just go to Hole 5 Par 5 and go west a little ways from the Hole 5 sign and take the dirt road north about 100 feet.
If you do not golf here, start at Macey Park. Take the road that goes west to the physical plant that is to the left of Macey. Then turn right when a building is right in front of the road. Turn left onto a dirt road at the fork in the road. When you see the Etscorn Observatory sign, go left and continue on the dirt road. When you see the golf course Hole 5 sign to your right and a gate in front of you, stop.
The cache is to the left of the trail, down about 10 feet. It is hidden under three rocks and is virtually invisible from the trail unless you know exactly where to look.
NOTE: When findng this cache, DO NOT take the ATV trail that goes west in the direction of EMRTC. It is generaly roped off anyway.
This cache is along Blue Canyon, as you can see on the GoogleMap to the bottom right of this.
