Poor Chile just can't seem to keep track of his caches lately.
Of course it might help if he only kept one set of final coords for
his caches.
Recently his Fireflies cache up and
bugged out on him along with most of the fireflies.
The LongLostCousins couldn't stand to see this fine cache go MIA
so we packed up our caching gear, put on our night vision goggles
and went hunting for this lost cache. Those fireflies must be
pretty strong because we found this cache quite a ways from where
it was supposed to be.
Now we could have simply returned the cache to it's original
hiding place and let Chile know it was back where it should be, but
that just wouldn't be right. Instead, we have chosen to offer up
our version of Fireflies for your fun and entertainment. They're
back and this time there are a lot more of them out there to
find.
Like the original Fireflies, the cache is not at the posted
coordinates. They are simply your starting point. You will need a
good headlamp or preferably a nice strong flashlight held at head
height to locate these elusive fireflies. Some of them are a little
shy so they may be hard to spot initially, but they are there. You
will know when you have reached the end of your journey when you
find a group of three. From there the cache is not too far
away.
The cache has been restocked with some nice swag and a new log
book. There is a lammy for the FTF. And Chile, there is a special
prize in there for you; the original log book in all it's
glory.
Congratulations to Wheelygood on the FTF and ChileHead for
the close STF!!!
