Geocache Description:


Budshead Wood Local Nature Reserve extends for 12.5 hectares. It is a recognised ancient woodland which dates back to the Middle Ages, although the presence of Hornbeam (not native to South West England) in the woods indicates that it has been replanted in the past.
Its more important habitats include wetland, scrub, carr (wet woodland) and mature deciduous woodlands. The reserve is managed as high forest and, apart from tree thinning in the early and mid 1990s, the woodland is generally left to develop and regenerate itself naturally.

The co-ordinates above are for the start of this circular walk and the Cache co-ordinates are hidden in the woods.

To obtain the co-ordinates for that location you will need to find the answers to the following questions.

After parking your car at the suggested parking, be careful crossing this busy road to Waypoint TWO. The entrance of Budshead Wood Local Nature Reserve.

Go into the wood and take the centre main path. Follow the tarmac
path until you get near to the Hidden co-ordinates. See spoiler photo one.

When you have entered your final co-ordinates for the cache follow this path to the cache, which is only a few feet from the path. See spoiler photo two.

Please replace the clue and cache so that they cannot be seen by muggles.
